Farcaster

I see degen has an announcement of an l3 and I’ll be interested to see what that actually means in that context. FWIW I think farcaster has a legit claim to being the first l3 as it is organized as:

Mainnet <- optimism <- farcaster

Tradfi coder by day, hacker by night. Doesn’t know night from day. Freelance scribe. Dad cook. Dog butler.  Happy Grandpa. Draws badly.

Farcaster is offcain besides your ID and app registration. Moving those to an L3 seems a bit overkill to me

Maybe degen as it is today is a L4 being a layer on farcaster in a sense.

Same, not entirely sure what their L3 is actually supposed to do...
