I watched Barbie for the first time last night and I don’t know what to think… and I like to think!  What were people’s reaction to the movie?

I was late to watch it as well, I thought it was a solid movie! It was funnier than I expected, and I imagine it would be even better if I were the target demographic. I thought it was pretty self-aware and also did a good job getting the point across that it was going for.

Love that. I guess I switched into reader/writer critic mode and blew my viewing up. I’ll watch it again - a bit looser - to see the fun side.
