It also feels really weird to be so present on a network going through such an eb and flow of finding its first cohort of 1M sticky users. There was never a period of time when I first started using social media apps (FB, Twitter, IG) where there wasn't an endless sea of people to tap in with. FC is in this weird place where a lot of people came, tried it a few times, and then left. Usage feels extremely correlated to the price of the biggest tokens that stemmed out of the network and it creates this weird feeling like it's empty when in reality its not. Hard to describe in words but there's a psychological impact on engagement rn that feels tough to break out of.

In my opinion FC is still a still niche social network for crypto users for now. And despite the great growth of cryptocurrency in general, in fact, we have not yet passed the main stage of adoption, and therefore we still have a fairly narrow circle of those who would be interested in it. And those who are in the crypto space will most likely see FC as a way to make money. But I've used a couple of other social networks aimed at the crypto community before and they were terrible. What I like about FC is that it's really cool even if we don't take into account everything related to cryptocurrency, and that's what made me stay and I think a lot of people don't know that.
