tipping dilution is a mistake imo. More radical changes are needed to make the coin a good investment

Imo some tipping distribution is fine as it’s potentially value-adding to Farcaster and great marketing. It just shouldn’t be the main thing everyone focuses on, the farming should be limited almost completely by focusing on $Degen alignment (> tipping allocation it you have skin in the game, allocated to good tippers), and should ultimately come out of people‘s pockets.

Thing is, it's not so easy to prevent farming. I think it could be interesting to have allowance burnt into a reputation token to be tipped. The reputation token could give rights to airdrops and/or some other perks. This way Degen itself would have no sell pressure. It's vital to support Degen price as else the whole ecosystem might spiral down to zero.

it's not easy if you want to keep permissionless tipping aka that everyone can tip. $degen stake reduces already the allocation & issue of no-stake at risk from people that just farmed and tipped friends or followers. Absolutely agree that a sound $degen token is at the core of everything, then we can use some smart form of tipping to value-adders basically as invest to grow
