tipping meta over in farcaster? I enjoyed and disliked the tipping meta, it was dope that artists and those who needed it got it but it got tiring cause of farmers. Wondering if its gonna come back again.

well I just set-up my 1c per like via @kompreni mini app and hope that now we are tipping form our own pockets the amounts will be too small for farmers to make a living from it and it becomes a genuine and organic practice.

@naaate shared his vision with me about 100x return for one's efforts - over 10 years.

me too. Imagine this: my son got 1M likes on TikTok in 1 month. That'd be USD 10K ($10,000!!!) if everyone had sent him 1x for each like in that time.

if 10% of people = 1K
if only 1% = 100

Now extrapolate this to 1y = 1,200 to 12,000

10yr = 12L to 100K

by just fucking around and figuring it out.

I can see it. I am open-minded about content coins, too. I would never buy one for speculation unless it's an onchain-first declassified 9/11 file or future historic artefact.

I regularly buy writers' @paragraph articles which feels like a better bc non-speculative direct payment towards a creator.

i do think crypto in the micro payment content game will be figured out soon. once a huge platform embraces it its moon mission, but its quite complex due to liquidity/ farmers etc but i think we are super close to rewarding content creators , warpcast is a good place but its not perfected yet

i think long term farcaster will win , its just the bots when value is concerned like lets replay degen and ham tipping bots and not high value convos were overtaking the timeline and when the tipping meta tanked they thankfully left. 

id love for us to combat these bots (they have been trying ) but it seems futile and i know its not a problem only related to farcatser , twitter, facebook etc have so many but i think since we a native crypto centric place there should be a crypto solution to this huge problem, id love if we were the 1st to almost entirely be bot free and when i say bot free im not talking about people using multiple accounts or ai to farm convos/ tips or the platforms value

what would you like to see different on farcaster? I am here bc I want us all early adopters to win!
