Hello! Currently working on Summa, a primative that helps custodian services run "proof of solvency" rounds with zk. Going to be sending out updates on what we've been working on in the coming weeks, will be sure to share in this channel.

I think it's also relevant what kind of voting/governance model is in place.

Not familiar with coordinape circles so can't say, but from what I understand of coordinape they are similar concepts. Are there any communities or DAO's using coordinape that I could pop into any participate in?

It's interesting how efficiently it can scale. It takes about an hour for six people to play, but only slightly longer for 12, 600 or 6000 people. I've never used coordinape, what are the gameability vecors that are open there with larger groups?

Been writing about reputation based governance models recently, which may be related to your question https://warpcast.com/hodlon/0xcde318

A council of top contributors is established, with OPF tokens used to represent voting power within that group. The council can manage token distribution, make changes to the rules of the game, or align on any other relevant decisions effecting the Optimism Fractal community. Reputation-based governance unlocked! 9/

The tokens represent quantifiable, onchain standing within Optimism Fractal; The more you have, the more respected you are as a contributor by the Optimism Fractal community. 8/

The idea is that over time OPF token distribution will fall across all contributors in a manner consistent with the overall value of one’s contributions. 7/

The final results are written onchain (also requiring 2/3 group consensus!) and nontransferable Respect tokens are distributed, with the top contributor receiving 55 OPF, the next receiving 34 OPF, the next 21 OPF and so forth. 5/

Then, using open source consensus tools built by Optimystics, the group ranks contributors from most impactful to least, requiring 2/3 (or 66%) consensus. 4/

It does this by asking a simple question: what did you do to contribute to Optimism this week? Attendees break into groups of six or less and share their contributions with each other. 3/

The game, as played by Optimism Fractal, aims to incentivise positive and consistent contributions to the Optimism ecosystem, the popular Ethereum L2 chain. 2/

Let’s look at Optimism Fractal, a group that meets weekly to play experimental consensus games. The event is currently hosted by Optimystics and is open to anybody who wants to attend https://optimismfractal.com 🧵 1/
