we petered out about 3/4 the way thru season 1 of Tokyo Vice. can't remember why, I think maybe the actors were annoying. Honestly I've not seen much star trek, it might be about time to turn on that firehose

If you've liked any of s1-s3 of true detective (they are nonlinear independent storylines), s4 is an absolute thriller, very engaging, super scary but worth it (I typically don't like horror, this came pretty close)
