Even more dangerous when they know they can use it to benefit from men who want to do shit like this to women, especially if they have a reputation as someone who supports women. I also think he - the man - can genuinely believe he’s an ally, but most men I know really need to look in the mirror 
(Self proclaimed “girl dads” come to mind)

Part of me is like… get that bag though, for the PR woman who led his campaign. Like she saw right through him and made money out of making a small man feel protected. 

I hate it for Blake and for all of the other women who have had men do shit like this to them

And men are victims too to this entire construct.
