I watched Conclave last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it overall, especially in the exploration of Ralph Fiennes' character's own sublimated ambitions for the papacy. It's beautifully shot and written. The ending felt like a stretch though and while they try to steel-man the conservative Catholic perspective in passing, the liberal tilt of the film felt too obvious.
