The world if paid disclosure laws had teeth and were actually a thing. Instead we’re stuck playing minsinformation games with each other while soaking in a bath of paranoia.

When I was a kid, we’d receive mailers for penny stocks. At the very end in fine print was a disclosure of how much they were paid to shill the damn thing. Somehow we have regressed from that.
