It seems like there’s never been a better time for a provable E2EE messaging client. I designed the first post-quantum messaging protocol on ETH starting in 2021. Will open source this work if I get 100 likes.

Have you yried matrix/element? E2ee by default, federated, foss. Liytle rough around the edges but iverall quite nice

It's been a few years since I played around with it. Will have to revisit. One key differentiator I designed around was anti-spoofing functionality, which is endemic in practically every major messaging client out there.
