gm. It has been nearly 11 days since Degen L3 stopped operating normally at block 14.5M. This is an open letter to @conduit and @syndicate to release a post-mortem (or if the problem isn’t dead yet, a mid-mortem / vivisection).

Most of us are still in the dark about what exactly happened. Here are some key questions I’d like to see answered:

1/ What exactly was the upgrade and how did it go so wrong?
2/ Who knew what when?
3/ How were the hard fork(s) decided and executed upon?

4/ What is the extent of funds/asset loss as a result of the re-org?
5/ Have there been any bailouts?
6/ Was it ever possible to even run an independent light node for this blockchain?
