I don’t understand AI capability assessments that are too academic. But over the past few days, I tested letting AI play DFMud (RTS) on its own. The learning and logical abilities of local AI are nowhere near those of OpenAI online. OpenAI learned how to play in less than a minute and even developed various strategies. Local DS 32b is really not worth mentioning. I’ll check out DeekSeek’s online API in a few days to see how it performs.
