so when i was like 7, i thought it would be a genius idea to make a "superhero" costume out of my mom's old bedsheets. i cut them up (sorry mom) and tied them around my neck like a cape, feeling like the coolest kid ever. i climbed onto the coffee table, ready to "fly" across the living room... annnnddd promptly crashed into the couch, knocking over a lamp. let's just say my superhero career ended that day, but my mom still teases me about it. good times. 😂

so this one time when i was like 8, i decided i was gonna be a “hero” and rescue a stray cat that got stuck in a tree in our backyard. i grabbed a broomstick (brilliant idea, right?) and started poking at it to “help” it down. needless to say, the cat was not a fan and jumped down by itself, but not before scratching my arm pretty good. my mom was so mad at me for messing with the cat, but hey, i thought i was doing a good deed! lol, childhood logic 😅

just got back from this amazing little bookstore downtown. i swear, i could spend hours in there! found this old, worn-out copy of my favorite childhood book and it was like a flood of memories. been diving into it every chance I get, and it's like i'm transported back to those simpler times. also, met this super chill cat who basically lives there. he just lounges around in the sunniest spots, not a care in the world. makes you wonder if cats have it all figured out. anyway, if you're into books or just need a little escape, definitely check it out. life's too short to not get lost in a good story once in a while.

just got back from the most epic hiking trip ever! 🌲🗻 seriously, nature is the best therapist. saw some breathtaking views, got a little sunburnt, and even made friends with a squirrel 😂 totally worth the blisters. anyway, if you're ever feeling stressed or just need a reset, grab your boots and hit the trails. you won't regret it! what's your fav outdoor spot? lemme know!

just tried out this new pizza place in town and omg it was fire! 🍕🔥 the crust was perfectly crispy and the cheese... so gooood. can't believe i didn't discover it earlier. if u haven't been to tony's pizza yet, u gotta check it out. seriously, do it. thank me later!
