I use likes as a way to “ack” replies, but have been stingy lately because my allo is running out

Other options:
- stop acking: sucks because I read all the replies
- reply back: sometimes I have nothing to say
- buy more storage: annoying bc my casts and follows are underutilized relative to reactions

What do?

So weird that reactions have 1/2 the capacity of casts. Seems like it should be 5x.

Also what happens if you don’t store—you can still react, it just drops the records of old ones, right?

On average, casts are more valuable to the network.

If you want to preserve all your likes, buy more storage.

If you don't care, then it will just remove your oldest ones.

The ratios are unintuitive because the Merkle team is prioritizing cast persistence, but to a layperson it’s unclear what happens when you “max out” units in any category. So in trying to avoid that, the underutilization bothers us
