posting blobs also requires a mainnet tx and they’ve paid $140k so far for those. blob fee is still negligible though but maybe that changes soon here’s all the blob fees data you may need: https://dune.com/hildobby/blobs#fees

wanted to post this in the /base channel but it says I can't now without being a member? I guess I missed some recent warpcast changes

some are but a little fragmented atm, workinkg on having those all in one place soon. For now you can query cex.addresses which are all my cex addresses labels and staking_ethereum.entities has all my tagged eth stakers. I'll have more soon

i always have ~ 10 wip dashboards at various stages of completion but only share them when fully ready. i'm currently working on bridges, stablecoins, cex deposit addresses, mev, phishing, lending and etfs. pls frontrun me on any of those

I already touched on this but pls pls share dashboards you appreciate, tell the creators you appreciate them and if you can, tip them. most wizards do this work for free and get little to nothing back, incentives aren't on creators' side so anything that tips the scale helps

1. i'm very biased here but i would have never been able to make my top performing dashboards on flipside, mostly because of the lack of a spellbook alternative and flipside having less compute available to users. but flispside has much better window management with tabs and is a great place to make some money early on if you manage to get your dashboard trending. 2. for tags I recommend using the protocol if you can (and its cheap, else not worth the cost), looking at protocol docs and searching for addresses on github, arkham and dune. be very careful which tags dataset you trust as many have tons of false positives, that's why i've slowly been building my own tag lists over time.

1. find your niche and go all into it. 2. you will get a lot further by doing 1 amazing dashboard than 10 mediocre ones. 3. keep your code clean or you will pay the bill later. 4. either you make the best dashboard for that sector/chain/etc or you've wasted your time (good for training/learning dune though). 5. leverage dune's spellbook if code gets too complex to do it all in-query. 6. share your dashboard with all teams that you assume to be interested (target those heavily involved in the sector), that's how you can ask for a job, freelancing gigs, etc + if it's good they might share it on their socials.

I host a podcast with @sui414 & @boxer (/indexed) and recently had a super interesting conversation with 2 guests (@alvinh from shadow & @tynes from optimism). onchain emitted event logs facilitate a lot of the work analysts like me do but that's only my perspective, having non-analysts perspective helped show the nuances and bottlenecks caused by event logs. I don't want those to ever be removed but it's good to see some intermediary solutions are being worked on https://warpcast.com/hildobby/0xca498416

1. It's all about understanding protocols, SQL and knowledge about non-blockchain analysis won't matter as much as you may think. the pro tip is to simply use the protocols you analyse and know how to read etherscan 2. tagging is all about centralised entities who refuse to share their addresses (ie: staking, ETFs, CEXs...). At this point it's trivial to tag addresses from decentralised entities and you will find them across github, nansen, arkham, dune, etherscan, etc 3. it's super hard to make money independently as a data/researcher and i hope that changes, it's within everyone's interest to have analysts make public goods instead of every company in that sector redoing the work

I view NFTs as a technology that can be leveraged for all sorts of things. The current NFT meta revolve mostly around art, pfps and defi positions but this just skims the surface of what this tech allows. I hope to see more innovative use cases for NFTs take off soon! That is what I see as most likely to revive the NFT market and take it to new heights

I had a data scientist internship at Kaiko back in 2019 which is where I learned about blockchains on a deeper level. I then went on to do my masters on computational science in Amsterdam. During covid, I started to dig into blockchain data using dune. That's where I realised this is the sector that would be the most fun for a data job (transparency, amount of data, etc). I slowly put more time into it until I started to get some freelancing gigs. In early 2022 I dropped out of my studies to go all into this and then joined Dragonfly a few months later!

it's a Uniswap v2 fork that has since rebranded to RAI Finance https://x.com/RaiFinance you should search addresses on github, it's usually the best place to find smart contract tags
