POAP Global | Travel & Collect

Did we expect the app to take this long? Definitely not! 😆 We haven’t shared much publicly, but the app has gone through several major redesigns based on feedback from our beta testers. There have been delays, and they’ve been more than just small tweaks. We got sidetracked by the interest from tourism and travel groups, which led us to stretch the app’s vision too thin. However, after a pivotal conversation with a friend and colleague, we’re on track and making progress for a January release to our Warpcast group chat. At the heart of it, we want POAP Global to be for meaningful travel collectibles that are an easy entry point into the POAP ecosystem. Instead of explaining NFTs to someone at a hostel, I want to show them a fun app for collecting travel memories. As they explore, they’ll naturally discover the deeper value of POAPs.
