Community governance and community education aren't discussed enough together

This is a missed opportunity. Digital communities have an edge on IRL communities and governments and orgs in that they can dictate admission to community based on some degree of skill or value-alignment vs. geographic affiliation or birthright

It's up to communities to leverage this opportunity to offer (or require) education as an essential part of governance

Some make good progress through narrowly defined 'proposal sprints': short-term RFPs, 'mandates' (Nouns Prop House), & more that encourage bursts of proposals for a single need. These are effective but can require governance to initiate—and as illustrated, that governance step can fail without an educated community

Many web3 communities decentralize decision-making without teaching their members what good proposals look like—how proposals should adhere to core values, align with active strategy, articulate a value prop, etc
