One reason I sort of like the non-chronological Warpcast feed is that sometimes you initially think you have a flop cast only to find out hours later that it had grown into a widely-loved banger. You can just plant your cast and walk away as opposed to waiting for instant gratification.

I too have found this to be the case, algo doesn't punish an older post just because it's older but rather it seems to be a momentum/velocity thing, which can happen after the post is made.
