got sucked into the youtube woodworking vortex and pretty much only use rubio monocoat on all my projects, very easy to work with, looks great, protects well, but expensive

Nice! What kind of finish are you planning on using? 

I did a walnut chair with beeswax finish that has a nice matte look.
