Father’s Day is a strange day where I want to spend my time on myself, but also my kids. They’re young and I want to spend as much time with them as I can while they want to spend time with me.
Father’s Day has turned into a strangely clear space that I demarcate for myself for the day: The family is out, I’m doing my own thing (some work, some art, and some reconnecting with friends) and I can’t wait for the kids to come home for dinner.

I had a very similar Father’s Day! My wife gave me the day to sort of recover from the usual tasks and responsibilities of being a parent but then I loved when I got dinner time and also put my little one to bed tonight. I used my time today to get an epic massage 😅🙏 so gooood!
