We like to raise the alarm that AI is making it hard to understand what is true in our world. The cactus “blooms” in the center row are plastic. It doesn’t take AI to fool us, we’ve been fooled before and we will continue to be fooled. Critical thinking is… critical.

Father’s Day is a strange day where I want to spend my time on myself, but also my kids. They’re young and I want to spend as much time with them as I can while they want to spend time with me. Father’s Day has turned into a strangely clear space that I demarcate for myself for the day: The family is out, I’m doing my own thing (some work, some art, and some reconnecting with friends) and I can’t wait for the kids to come home for dinner. Happy Father’s Day to the dads out there and love to all the families. Here’s a WIP I was exploring with the time I had today.

I’m sorry to hear that Frank Stella has passed away. His early work made a strong mark on me and still informs how I compose my works. I was repeatedly reminded of his Black Series from 1967 while creating and editing some of the pieces for Rules of the Game. Thank you Frank.
