Yeah! I do netting for developing plants in beds where I’ve sowed seeds. The herb garden bed hasn’t really needed one however. Will put frost covering over them during late Fall as well.

Amazing! Not that you need any advice but if you throw some organic dry mulch on top of all of that soil it will help a lot. Checkout the dry barley straw on buildasoil.com

Yeah! I have some straw in waiting actually. Need to water my beds with beneficial nematodes this week and then I was gonna mulch those bad boys.

Hell ya!! I’ve gone full organic and now my favorite part is growing cover crop all over my beds. It’s helps with watering so much and then when it dies the worms eat it.

This stuff is amazing. It sprouts in 3 days and grows up into the mulch. Completely changed my soil health and watering. It’s also rewarding growing that little ecosystem too. https://buildasoil.com/products/clover-cover-crop-blend-13-seed-buildasoil-mix-40-clover

I ended up buying a huge bag of it to have on hand. You can use it sparingly or I fully coat it now. I mix with their craft blend fertilizer in a bowl so it spreads easier, the seeds stick together.
