They only care about money. I couldn't be happier to have switched to DaVinci Resolve and left Adobe behind for good. Their lack of ethics and respect for their users doesn't deserve a single penny.

yes, many graphic designers friends are still captured under their big hand, good that for video are really good pro alternatives

Yep, photoshop and illustrator are difficult to replace, although Affinity has not much to envy them. In video, as you said, there are simply better alternatives. And also, at a high level, no one uses After Effects. 99% of studios today use Nuke, and for good reasons.
