looking lightly into the BLUR airdrop -- I had not really thought of airdrops in this way, but the core mechanic is a temporary reset the kind of stagnant default for capitalism where whales own most/all of the capital. you get this little period where it's evenly distributed again and then it quickly coagulates.

Wasn't LR similar for whales in that the stake LOOKS for WETH allowed investors to immediately earn on their "locked" tokens basically converting to ETH during lockup?

thaaat sounds plausible to me -- I don't think mechanically there was too much about this airdrop from LooksRare that is significantly different.
