The channel is growing rapidly, amazing and welcome all new members! Thinking about establishing some rules of engagement though to keep the channel engaging and to avoid that it turns into a link dump. Opening this up for discussion, but I will make some suggestions below!

It’s a tough one because the entire point of music is to listen, but a channel of link dumps would not make for a good community. 

One simple norm I would support would be “no links without context” as a bare minimum to post a link.

My first stab at how I would word this norm if it were to appear in the channel info would be this:

“Please no links without context. 

Consider making your words the point of your cast, and any music links support for your words.”

Thinking about this more, I think I like this notion of norm compliance not through banning any given content, but by “constructively adding” to that content that would otherwise be a violation and bringing it up to par.

This is the way.

And start off very generous with what we mean by context. Can always evolve the norms based on how it goes from there.
