Gadgets have become a huge part of my life, making things like staying connected, studying, and even relaxing so much easier. But I have also noticed how easy it is to get too attached to them. Scrolling endlessly or feeling the need to check notifications can be overwhelming and affect mental health. We depend on technology for almost everything now work, communication, entertainment and while it’s super convenient, it is important to set boundaries. I have tried a digital detox by having no phone evenings, focusing on hobbies or spending time with friends. It felt freeing and gave me more clarity. Gadgets are amazing, but they shouldn’t control us. It’s about finding a balance so they enhance our lives without taking over.
