I was catching up with a founder friend of mine last night. This is what he said his life is like. "Being a CEO is about running from crisis to crisis with a smile on your face – no light at the end of the tunnel – got to enjoy the process, there is no destination. Every level there is a new challenge” Does this resonate, or is he unique?

It seems that being a CEO is indeed a never-ending journey of challenges. But I also believe that while there may be no ultimate destination, there are still milestones and achievements along the way that can give a sense of progress.
