Wild that it's 2023 and we don't have a clear solution on how someone with no wallet buys something onchain with a credit card.

Getting through approval and kyc remains the biggest blocker here. But we’re on our way!

KYC has definitely felt like the biggest blocker. I've been wondering if there's a work around with funding an "account balance" more akin to buying credits in Clash of Clans. What do you envision the easiest way to get someone $10 in a fresh smart wallet looks like?

Yes -- the in-game account model is how I think about it as well. - if dev has an existing wallet --> a contract "router" that allows the user to fund smart wallet up to x, per month (eg) - if new but has existing crypto account --> CB Pay - otherwise, traditional on-ramp (can be augmented using an onchain router).

Beyond that, I think first few onchain interactions of users (if not all) should be sponsored (in the hopes LTV warrants it)
