How are people feeling about the channels change?

Need single click fast channel join when in compose!!!!

Not a member of music but trying to post to music?? Give me a one tap (or popover card to go thru join flow and then resume my post once a member.

The channel owners don't necessarily want that, though

Channel settings > allow quick follow? 

I search for the right channel when I post and if I discover a new channel where I think a post belongs, the alternative of not posting cause I can’t yet seems worse than having a quick follow option at time of post.

Easy path to first post in a channel feels like it would lead to further posts/engsgement

We removed the ability to search for channels in the composer for that reason. They're not hashtags.

Agree with the language about not being hashtags. 

My natural inclination is to treat channels like subreddits. Aka open communities about a subject, moderated for quality. 

Invite only hampers discoverability/serendipity of new channels for me.

Problem is moderation is a thankless task. And if you don’t have moderation then the channels are bad.
