Hot take 🌶️ : The concept of gas will go away within a year. Gas is an infra concept, not a user-facing concept. In the same way that people don't need to details of monetary relationships between ISPs, or how ISPs use BGP etc, users don't need to know there was a minimal gas payment to settle a transfer.

or how i don't want to see a price for a coffee or food and then have tax added to it just tell me how much it is total, if i want to see a breakdown i'll dig deeper

this I think is the solution. Show me the full and then if I click details I get the breakdown in tax, gas, other fees and core price
