internet archive has been fending off ddos attacks for the last 3 days and has had to suspend service for most of that time every announcement they post is just filled with replies from people thanking them for what they're doing and saying take their time, good luck faith in humanity increased 💖

from what i can tell there were some usernames and passwords compromised, so they were trying to gain access into the system
