skeuomorphism is actually good many people pigeon hole skeuomorphism to the leather binding and bookshelf era of iOS but it's really just a way to leverage familiar visual cues to make new technology easier to understand and more approachable to use those visual cues will of course evolve over time as users adapt to new interfaces

i've noticed it coming back as we trend away from the flattening vector minimalism of the past few years! very keen to create/explore some skeuomorphism components and styling :)
