i have many personas on farcaster and i wish i could present my profile accordingly we have: > designer erica (expert) > dev erica (learning) > onchain erica (professional) > irl erica (wip) > current fixation erica (ephemeral - rn it is home improvement) depending on which hat i'm wearing i also want to see different content and people i follow (which we have with topic clusters from /unofficial ) BUT how can we design that same concept for people viewing our profiles? i'm sure i'm not the only one who has dif personas here (this is what i love about fc is that this is even possible!)

identity is weird, especially online once you know how people perceive you it's difficult to get out of that mold, it's a weird personal brand crisis young people have online

i just saw a tiktok of someone complaining about exactly this 🥲 they got famous for looking like an anime character and now can't escape that persona no matter what they do however i do think tiktok's playlist feature and instagram's highlight feature or good formats for showing dif personas

yeah its tough but i think you have it easier than others because you're doxxed, people follow you for you, not for something specific that you do if you only posted web design work, and that was the only thing you posted, then it would be harder to branch out bc people follow you for (and expect to see) web design

totally, i am very lucky i found folks that vibe with me as myself 💖 however it shouldn't be impossible to break out of a space! humans change and evolve, especially our interests - that's a bigger issue with content discovery and surfacing it to the relevant audiences fc allows for this more easily bc of how distribution works (more channel oriented) so you can maintain multiple personas
