I gotta/wanna cast more but I am plagued by guilt of not being good with notifications. 

It wouldn't be fair to blame UX entirely, but the notifications tab is a mess. 

Mentions includes immense spam which makes it useless.

I feel this. I used to never make a post until I caught up with all notifs and dms. Only recently has this changed, and it has a lot to do with notifications and power badges here. 

Catching up is important to me and even the jump back to the top after responding wears me out.😂

Yeah, I often take social media way too seriously, lol. It is ok to post and share even if behind on notifications and dms. Life can get busy, take twists and turns - we do our best, and good intentions are recognized.
