query planner uses genetic algorithm to optimise order of joins when too many tables are involved

I think its at a dozen of joins or so.
But this is where I feel postgres lacks, oracle and ms have really good optimisations around performance.

That’s right. I forget the approximate number of join relations where more time planning surpasses likely execution but it’s like hundreds, right?
