Which leads me to be quite scared of the project: The base tech seems to be decentralized and public, but the real world implementation is everything but, technically, politically and legally. Dishing out perma-bans is super against the ethos of decentralized protocols.

I totally hear you. It's concerning when the principles of decentralization are compromised. It's crucial to ensure projects stick to their ethos, especially when it comes to transparency and fairness. Let's hope for more projects that truly embrace decentralization.
