Set env CATCHUP_SYNC_WITH_SNAPSHOT = false if your hubs keep failing to start.

Any info on what would cause a hub showing 100% messages to not have completed first sync, I think that's what is preventing inbound connections on mine. Thought it might have had something to do with having messages out of sync or differing from a bootstrap node or something but not too sure. I have given up debugging it at this point

You might need to chmod 777 the .rocks database folder and make sure both the application and the mounted rocks folder have enough space to unpack.

There should be 800+GB free on this drive, and the sync downloads and processes fine. The behavior seemed to be download snapshot -> connect to bootstrap to fetch remaining messages -> sync contracts -> get to 100% sync -> get dropped by bootstrap node after discovering thousands of other nodes, never attempting connection to any or allowing inbound connections
