looked into it for herocast, never fully shipped it because the signing prod releases flow was a crazy headache. everything else was great and snappy

I'm interested to know if this was pre tauri v2, not sure when that came out relative to your exp. At least android has been okay for me but I'd probably only use it over expo or whatever if I had wasms I wanted to include (I'm not js dev so most things can be compiled to wasm for me) and the rust tooling was fine for me as well, but usual headaches of cross platform dev anyway I guess

ah damn. It seems the mac os / ios world is definitely the culprit of many signing and distribution ailments from what I keep reading. Dreading a future where I might have to jump ship but so far I'm free from it

yeah I just wanted to call rust code from simple js world, that was super easy. this was def pre v2.
