I circled the red part because it really resonates with me. I've done thousands of interviews. My most of my favorite one feel like I'm being dropped into a new world. Some people are exceptional at getting lots of texture across with few words. They know where they can stretch things out, and invite me to follow them along. Sometimes you get lost, but if you can keep up it's always so rewarding. Most obvious example being communicating highly technical concepts to people that don't have context.
