I've noticed there is an interesting class of old semi-obscure songs that have found huge popularity via Spotify's algo. They're mostly: - non-US artists - 30+ years old - easy listening but not pop Kind of cool because these songs/artists were not chart-toppers when they came out. Kind of annoying cuz you hear it at trendy stores and restaurants so much it's almost annoying lol.

How can you tell? Does the algo recommend them to you and you just happen to notice?
