I want to learn the basics of solving a cube. What size cube should I start with? What book should I get? What videos should I watch?

Hi @maurelian.eth Love to see this cast from you! Appreciate it. ☺️ I would always recommend anyone to start with a regular Rubik’s cube (3x3x3). Even though a 2x2x2 seems smaller, easier, and better to start with, I strongly advise against it as both 3x3 and 2x2 has same mechanism. Do you have cube with you? If not, please let me know where you are currently based. I’ll suggest a good cube accordingly. Or even send one to you. :) Tutorials are available in plenty. However, most of the videos with click bait titles teach inefficient techniques. I wouldn’t call them bad. But inefficient. The video tutorials I have made and published online are in an Indian native language. English tutorials are getting released in a week. If you can wait until then, it would be amazing! ☺️🫶 (My DMs are always open)

In addition to that, we can even have zoom meet ups were I can help you learn it super-quick over one on one short meet ups. :)

thanks for all of your useful replies! I'll keep the zoom offer in mind for when I get to the point that I can make good use of it :)
