gm frens! rain 2000 $degen Continuing on yesterday's chat re: allowances, OpenRank, and Staking Lot of great points made - but one thing I'd kindly ask others not to do; pls do not tag jacek or wake (note how I'm not @'ing them) just to.. uh, throw abuse at them. It's extremely uncool, and un-degen. And majorly un-frenlike. Experimentation towards the allowance mechanics - yes they can be frustrating (I had 5 degen allowance one szn), but this experimentation and play MUST happen. The alternative is stagnation/going to zero. If you were a big recipient of tips prior but insta-sold them/don't want to stake any, being honest - that's on you. You picked a cash payout over rolling into an allowance; nothing wrong with that at all, but hodl mechanics/rewards exist for a reason. Skin in the game trumps all. I want to see a system where new and influential users can still build up good allowances via OpenRank, but skin in the game should still be a massive factor imo. Incentive to hodl/stake is v important.

Well said brother! Glad I happened to read this today. As someone who is still building a decent openrank, for me what helped better is staking whatever I received as tip from the community and amazing supporters here. I staked whatever I claimed from tips and gave away 20k degen to two of newbies so they could be in the tipping game. There could be people who are extremely upset. But ultimately even a mom can’t make both her kids equally happy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Part of the game. Great thing is Jacek and team are listening to the community. If anything has to change, they would, eventually. :)
