I think this is a tough guess honestly because ETH is so centric to it and I think usdc is usable right? Other than attracting even more farmers and short term users, what do you think would be the main goal of base releasing a token if people who don't use mainnet can use ETH here affordably?

@kaiynne counterpoint: many of the leading L2s will launch precisely because they *don't* want to launch a token (ie they already have stock from IPO)
