“Dolce far niente” is something that many of us should learn from the Italians. This concept means sweet idleness. That is, the time when a person decides to disconnect from everything and enjoy the moment: lie down, take a walk, look at the waves, drink a cup of coffee or chat about nothing with friends. The expression originated in the time of Ancient Rome. And now it is an important part of the Italian mentality. They even dedicated paintings to Dolce far niente. For example, the Englishman John William Godward. And what are your plans for Friday evening and Weekend?
