yeah another solution is more like Instagram comments, at most 2 levels.

thank you, i like this a lot more because you can explore parallel convos by expanding down into a specific reply and seeing multiple indentation levels vs switch to new screen and only have 2 indentation levels

Also, if you try to follow the conversation between aethernet and mfergpt you have to constantly click on each reply to see one new reply... Perhaps consider expanding a full reply thread between two parties after the first click?
