Yosemite Valley, USA

Yosemite National Park is located on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada range in California.  The Sierra Nevada range stretches across California, increasing in height from west to east. Yosemite Valley occupies only one percent of the park's total area, but it is where most visitors flock. One of the world's most popular sites among climbers with routes of varying difficulty levels is the granite rock El Capitan, 2307 meters above sea level, clearly visible from any part of the valley.
