I worry sometimes that if I ever have a partner again, we’d become something like that. They spent a good half an hour on their phones. Together but not present. What do you think? How do you picture aging with a partner?

It literally sucks, my dear friend. But sometimes it happens. It's hard to stay motivated all the time, and over the years you have to get really creative to avoid this. But it's always possible to see the bright side of things. Recently, Dan @banthafodderdan shared a sensational quote in an interview: 👉 "We never have the ability to grow if we never branch out, so someone who's excited to explore is very important." It's sad to see when this is a pattern, at that point - it's just cohabitating. Exploration is one cure for this! 🫶
