Modafinil is a class above caffeine.

→ Less addictive
→ More powerful and longer-lasting
→ Little to no impact on falling asleep (if taken early in the morning)
→ Alleviates sleep deprivation

I don't understand why it requires a prescription while caffeine is available OTC.

I would get it back in the duckduckdose days (maybe you know) and I think about it often…it’s better than anything and it didn’t affect my body negatively (other than an icky feeling on my skin sometimes)
