Getting annoyed at other people's entitlements has caused me to reflect on my own entitlements. You are not entitled to a single thing in this life. Not health nor wealth nor happiness. I think a lot of unhappiness is downstream of the mistaken belief that you deserve something you aren't getting

I don't agree with that take. People have rights and responsibilities to each other and its the only for a society to function. Its ok to expect certain duties from people, e.g politness from strangers, love & support from friends and family, etc. Its fair also to be pulled up on your own failures to meet your duty to other people as well.
